Floral Romper

This romper was a hand me down given to me two summers ago from one of my grandmothers friends, and I've been busting it out every summer since. I don't wear a lot of red--but this I'd wear. I paired it with cut out heeled booties to toughen it up a bit.

A Little Grunge

The last time I tied a sweater or shirt around my waist was probably sometime in elementary school, and it was only a means of holding my sweater (without the use of hands), not some "style statement" lol. I've seen this shirt tying thing a lot and never thought I'd rock it myself. I wore some distressed jeans and a white tee, and I thought it was missing something so I tied an old flannel around my waist and lo and behold I actually liked it.

Booties: Steve Madden | Jeans: Zara | Flannel: Forever 21 | Purse: Forever 21 | White Top: Marshalls | Sunglasses: Ray Bans

Bear and I had some help from my talented uncle who loves photography (check out his photography website - here). I'm not sure which ones he took and which ones bear took but the last five pictures were taken with my mom's Canon SLR. He snapped a couple of pics of me and gave us tons of advice. I was thinking of trading our Nikon J3 for the SLR. Let me know what you think! Should I do the trade?

Anywho, I have mid-terms to write this week. I really shouldn't be blogging at a time like this lol!

Till next week,

Blue & Distressed

"Oh Zara! Take all my money!" I exclaimed. I walked into Zara on a casual Saturday afternoon to return something with the absolute intention of not purchasing anything else, annnnd walked out with a new pair of jeans. Zara is definitely not a place for the weak willed. Also I kinda hate JustFab because if you don't remember to "skip the month" you get charged a credit. So hello to new shoes June. As a student I'm definitely limited to what I can buy and this month...let's just say my debit card cried tears.

Guilty of also buying a new purse and sunglasses which were the only things that were on my want list. I invested in a good pair of RayBans because I HAD a pair that have grown legs and walked out of my life. Let's all take a moment to shed bloody tears. I stuck with the classic aviator style I know I'd love for years to come. The purse is from F21 and for $30 it fits my laptop and textbooks and doesn't look too shabby so I'm happy. Shabby, happy. See what I did there? *Takes a bow*

Sunglasses: Ray Ban | Jacket: Dynamite | Top: Anne Klein (Via Marshalls) | Jeans: Zara | Bag: F21 | Shoes: JustFab Luxe

Anyways, there's nothing I can do about it now. New stuff June! :) Be prepared to see these new additions to my closet in the next two thosand blog posts.

Cheers,

Printed Body Con

Hey Guys! I found this dress at the...*drum roll* ...thrift store! It's definitely a statement. I don't even know what print this is. Stripes? Checkered? Both? Yah I'll go with both. I feel like a walking, talking, optical illusion. Needless to say, I'm obsessed. My taste for more quirky pieces has now grown exponentially.

One, two, three of me.

I tried doing one of those herbal essence hair flip shots. I'll get there one day! *Raises fist in the air*

Shoes: Forever 21 | Dress: Thrifted | Necklace: Zara - Crystals Necklace (Buy it here)

As much as I love how body con dresses look I don't like not being able to eat liberal amounts of food. Lolz. Ahh.. the price we girls pay.

Anyways,  toodles! :)

Bell-Bottoms

Happy June!

We might have trespassed just to take these pictures but hey a) we thought it was the abandoned railroad my uncle was telling us about and b) there was no fence. We found out later that night that it wasn't the railroad he was talking about. Whoops! Lol!

Jeans: Thrifted | Top: Gifted (American Eagle) | Clutch: Thrifted | Shoes: Aldo

I found these jeans at the thrift store and I love the fit of them. They're the only pair of flared jeans I have in my wardrobe and despite my boyfriends protests (he just doesn't understand), I'm excited to add more bell bottom jeans to my closet. I went flare for flare and paired it with a little peplum-ish top which was a gift from a friend.

I don't own too many clutches (actually I only have two) but I found this little guy at Salvation Army for $2.99! I just tucked in the straps to turn it from a cross body to a little clutch.

Just chillen by a train. No big.

Have a good week everyone!

Toodles :)
